My Piano

My Piano is an app that lets you play up to 11 different instruments on your smartphone, each with good sound quality. You can also use it to record your own compositions with customized samples. It includes a Rhodes piano, a xylophone, a classic piano, an organ, a pizzicato, a vertical piano, a synthesizer, a saxophone, an electric piano, a bass keyboard, and an acoustic guitar. You can control all of these using the virtual keyboard on the screen.

You can also record your own creations and apply up to eight different sound effects like vibrations and echoes. The app supports multi-touch technology, too, so you can play more than two keys at a time, a common limitation in other apps of this kind. It also comes with a sampler so you can create your own virtual instruments to use with the virtual piano.

The best thing about My Piano is that it can work through MIDI controllers via Wi-Fi, so you can use a physical keyboard to play on the app and access other features regarding volume, speed, and pitch.
